Making Life Colourful

About Us

Founded in 2002, by Jonathan Thompson, The Omega Printmakers is a community of Printmakers working side-by-side in a friendly environment that encourages and inspires artistic growth. We believe everyone has an artist ability. Our aim is to help and support you in finding your confidence to explore yours. Many of our Printmaker Tutors and Studio  Supervisors have experience both in the studio and in the classroom, meaning you get not only support from people with a great skill set, but also great teaching technique too. Take a look at our bookings page and sign up for one of our courses! Or if you already have experience and want to come along to use the facilities during an open access session get in touch so we can arrange an induction and meet one of our team.

We look forward to meeting you in the very near future.

“I came with a friend to an open access session in the print room. I was working on a linocut, Sue was working on drypoint. . It is a lovely space, with plenty of elbow room and a beautiful old press for relief prints. It's all well thought-out and what's expected of users is very clear. It's really conducive to focussed work. We'll definitely come again soon -Thank you”
